On Friday, November 18th, a rally and subsequent march were both held by anti-Trump protesters in Sacramento, CA. The march was the second of a discussed series which intends to unify people and organizations in an effort against the Trump presidency along with any other encountered forms of hate and bigotry.
Speeches were given by a variety of event goers, mainly highlighting issues/threats that those speaking feel need more attention since the presidential election which took place on November 8th.
Protesters first met in front of the State Capitol on 10th Street where a series of speeches was given at an open-mic opportunity. Once speeches were concluded the protesters then marched through the streets of Sacramento, eventually reaching and shutting down traffic on the Tower Bridge for fifteen to twenty minutes.
After establishing a presence and offering another round of open-mic speeches, protesters exited the bridge and headed back toward the Capitol where they concluded their march with one last open mic opportunity.
