With this going on, and college shootings, etc. makes me feel like we should bring awareness to the issue and put a stop to bullying.
I've experienced bullying first hand and it wasn't a pleasant experience. It can really damage people mentally and no one should have to deal with that, ever.
It's important to stay strong and know that at the end of the day, other people's opinions really don't matter. What really matters most is how you feel about yourself. No one deserves to be bullied.
This is a perfect example of the importance of ALL of us reporting concerns. The rule is simple: If you see something, say something. If you hear something, say something. We should all bring awareness to the issue and put a stop to it and take it more seriously. It’s really important to diffuse bullying before it even begins by reporting concerns.
