Folsom Lake College's Online Newspaper

It was six o’clock on a Friday, the eve of Halloween. The sun shone brightly as Daylight Savings wasn’t in existence just yet. Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” rumbled from inside as students, faculty members, and guests approached the Roost at Folsom Lake College. A menacing zombie, taped over the front of the door, greeted the various costumes as they shuffled in to get their groove on.
An hour-and-a-half in to the spooky festivity an electrifying performance took place as the Mosaic Dance Team performed a monster mash of dances. Prior to this stunning event inquires of calls were made, specifically by the Ghostbusters and Drake, as partiers pivoted around the dance floor in sporadic rhythms.
Unfortunately the clock ticked ten and the event hosted by the Queer Straight Alliance, Diversity, and Circle K International clubs came to a close. The nearly one-hundred Halloween enthusiasts departed from the Clubs and Events Board sponsorship. Folsom Lake College’s Halloween Dance was surly a treat— a great way to kick off a sweet tooth’s dream of a candy-filled weekend. To those reading this bummed on missing out on the fun, don’t worry. There’s speculations of a bigger and better bash next year.
